i think work will be slow today so i will give this a go and report back mid morning. i don't know where you keep triming the fat from in these roms but if you ever become a personal trainer, let me know.

Re: Jd 1.08-lr1 070709 (New 23025 Beta Available 08-13-09 Post #5)

ok, i've been using this rom all morning and it has taken everything i have thrown at it. the only thing i noticed was that when syncing the wifi icon shows up with a spinning cirlce over it. other than that, i can't say i found any big issues.

i will say i am a fan of the original icons, so i can't say i like the new ones but that is all personal preference. i know some ppl hate the old ones just the same.

one thing i will say is that it would be nice to be able to select all of the options under sound settings. for example, i cannot turn on the "flash light for x minutes" box in this rom where in some other roms (DCD 2.06) you can. i don't have any idea in what is involved in making that possible, but as evidenced by DCD, it can be done.

nice work JD. for a beta this is rock solid IMO.

Duh - that was stupid question I asked... didn't see the fiel extension was .nbh.

I just removed teh RUUxxxx.nbh from a previous ROM install folder and running it now...

Actually trying out the new one posted last night.

I am quite happy with your last night's build

Love the Send/Recieve button at the bottom of the menu ! ! ! ! Only wish if it could be placed on the Home Screen as left/right soft key when Email tab is selecetd...

i just noticed the htc random access cab did not work. maybe it was b/c of some of the other things i have installed, but it shows up under remove apps but it is not showing up in contacts.

Is 21840 newer than 23028 you mentioned the other day? Does it have the new graphical improvements in that 02# builds? Thanks

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out.

Re: Jd 1.08-lr1 070709 (New 23025 Beta Available 08-13-09 Post #5)

Everything is great with the build thus far except for the fact that you didn't include Office Mobile. I write music on my phone using Word and i also use Excel and powerpoint for work. I don't have these cab files. Could you include these in your next build. For this fact alone i have to switch back to a different rom. Other than that i love the rom. Everything is very fast and i like the taskbar icons, i haven't used those in a while. Hopefully we can get an updated build soon with Office Mobile ....thanks alot JD
