Great so far, fast as usual, love the new icons thrown in the mix, stable...

JD, you know if DCD shared his work on mapping the buttons? I'm trying to get Vlingo to work on the beta...

damnit i am out of town once again when JD releases his goodness for all. i am actually running a 21502 rom you built some time ago as it has become my fall back rom. when i need something that works and won't give me issues, that is the one. i will give this one a try when i return. thanks for sharing JD.

Same way here, i've got a ROM built from that kitchen that stays on my storage card just in case!

JD,

Loving the ROM, but so far the main problem that I am having is that battery life seems to be draining faster then your previous ROMs.... Any thoughts as to what may be the problem.

Two more bugs:

Going to the home screen (clock) and clicking on the right softbutton for messages gives a Shortcut Target not found error.

Occasionally the screen changes to the wrong orientation after opening the keyboard. This is mostly during messaging, though I can't consistently reproduce it. Here is a sequence that will do it _sometimes_:
Go to the Messages tab with kbd in.
Tap "All Message in the lower left."
Select a message, and open kbd.
The screen is landscape briefly, but then reverts back to the wrong orientation.

Great work on the rom--my favourite by far!

JD when i try to install comm manager from your extensions package i get "installation was unsuccessful. the program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions." i have only installed s2p, coreplayer, & your youtube cab...do u have a different version & also do u have a .cab for the sprint tf3d???

EDIT: ok nvm it wouldnt install cuz the comm manager was still open from yesterday (i need to install htc task manager) but if u do or if anybody has a cab for sprints tf3d it would be greatly appreciated

you will have to tell me what you have installed because I honestly haven't done very many regedits for the power consumption because my battery last for me and I use public transportation so there is very heavy usage from me on my tp
