JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (updated Oct.14)

I just dl'd it and have only gotten to play around w/it for about an hour, but I really like what you have done.

Yeah i'm liking the new menu as well, need to get used to it more but i like it. As normal, fast as hell, works right out of the flash.

JD...i use TCPMP for my little girl to watch movies on when we're out and about and this ROM seems to be a little sluggish playing movies (audio was fine but the screen was kinda jumpy)? They're all compressed to hell and i've never had trouble with any other ROM's of yours, any ideas?

This ROM is smoking hot fast. I always like to see how quickly the \windows dir comes up. This thing literally RIPS open in less than 1 second it seems. Prior to this ROM, there have only been a few chefs who consistently make ROMs that RIP open \windows very quickly, usually that quick means 2 or 3 seconds....Don't take my word, test it for yourself...This ROM feels lightweight, solid, and fast--fast--fast!!!

I noticed that in the last build (21928 ) as well, NEVER have i seen a Windows directory open that fast.

ok in my prior roms I was using drivers from other devices in this last beta I switched back to the touchpro drivers I am gonna upload another beta tonight to test a theory about my drivers will you test this out with your movies to see if they play better

What format are your compress movies in? I would like to test it out also.

The one i tried was a 134MB .avi...i've got no problem flashing a new ROM today JD, bring it on!

i want to flash but it is hard...this 21502 rom you made way back when is so damn perfect. no dueling auto-suggestion boxes while creating sms/mms/email, no double bluetooth icons..but it does have the blurring contacts in the phone list. i know newer builds have come out, but i have to ask, if you had something that was damn near perfect, why change? is there something in these new builds that make it worth the work? other than the challenge and i am assuming you enjoy it. sorry i got off-topic, but i had to ask.

I've said it before, i have a ROM i built from that same 21502 kitchen that is always my fall back ROM if something starts acting up and i NEED my phone to work perfect...

That being said, look where you got that ROM from and notice you're in the same thread...JD just doesn't throw crap out there regardless...this 23009 ROM has a couple new things from MS (side swiping in menus for one) but it's nothing drastically different than 21502...JD's rearranged the menus a bit and they've got some snazzy looking new icons...
