Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.18)

JD i know this sounds crazy, but i have to get your opinion. on three different occasions my phone has gone into reset loops. i use your roms exclusively so i thought you would know better than anyone. the only other constant in the build up to teh reset loops is that the phone had been carried in my back pocket. i have only carried it in my back pocket 3 times while at work and unable to use the belt clip. is there a temp or moisture sensor that would cause such an issue? in all three instances i had the phone in my back left pocket and had been standing all day. i did not sit on the phone or hit it on anything. the only thing that seems to fix it is if i flash back to teh stock sprint rom. hard resetting the 6.5 rom did not help. once the reset loop began it would reset every time the screen would turn off. if i kept the screen active it would work fine, but once the screen would turn off it would reset. it couldn't be a hardware issue could it? the stock rom fixes it. i'm fishing here b/c until i figure this out i am stuck with the oem rom and boy it is a huge step backward.

Last couple builds (currently 23052) I have not been able to transfer files via bluetooth.
I use obex inbox to facilitate the transfer and I have checked to make sure beams is turned on.

Just wondering if I am overlooking an easy fix or if it is something in the build.

The pc says we are connected and it tries to send the file but it stops almost instantly.

I need to know what build you are running so that I can trobleshoot if its my base of the os

I'll flash it now to test however I do like the larger buttons in these last few builds and will deal with having to usb my files for the time being if I have to.

I will post back in a few.

Thanks again.

Yes it works fine on 21857 however I am flashing back to 23052 as I type lol.
Just for fun I am going to test this first before running all my .cabs and edits however I don't think they are to blame in this case.

EDIT: does not work on 23052 after fresh install.

ok then it was the os .... this is one of the main reasons I went back to com2 for myself even though I like the new UI but the functionality is just not there yet

to be honest i was out of town for a week on a business trip and do not remember. i believe it was 23049 but i will have to check when i get to work this morning. I am giving 21857 a go, so i will let you know if it starts to act up. the other time this happened was back in july and i have no idea what rom i was on then.

What build of com2 did you go back to?

I was on the 23049 and was experiencing all types of problems, ranges from battery over heating to not receiving calls when on data.
I went back to your 21501.5.0.70 build.
