Thanks you were right on the money I tried the factory flash but it wasnt the stock shipped rom. Good call now I only have to remember how to relock it again,,, brain cramp. Ive been playing for 6 weeks with so many different roms and having fun I forgot the basics and have to reread all those posts again..

you're welcome man. you don't have to read a bunch of posts to relock it. Just flash the relocker in this post http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503

Just be sure to flash Rapahel Elite on your replacement when you get it :p

tested on alltel device after vzw device...
I played a 4.5 gb mp4 file (an anime) that was 2 and a half hours long. It chugged on my laptop and it didn't even give an indication of chugging on the alltel device...we may knock this rom because it is "big" but to be honest there is a lot of stuff this rom does right...very impressed on a device with the proper memory

just use WinRAR to extract the exe file and you'll get your nbh file.

That answer is right on the money. The .exe file is just a self-extracting .rar file, opens up in WinRar just fine.

so guys. does anyone think i may have better luck if i flash from my SD card? i'm still really annoyed by the fact i can't get this to work correctly. i tried to borrow my son's to test and he flat out told me no. geez. i get no respect.

so here's the crazy thing i did.

1) pull battery for 3 minutes.

2) flash from SD card and as soon as it finished, pulled the battery for 3 minutes and pulled the SD card out.

3) turn the phone back on and as soon as i say the "Elite Rom" screen, hard reset.

4) after everthing ran, i a soft reset twice and put my SD card back in.

i think everything is working. sort of. i still don't understand why no videos shows up in the album. that's just wierd. i haven't seen that before. i've seen them show up and not play but i haven't see them just not show up at all.
