Hey whats going on everybody....Like I stated before I love this rom's speediness but I am also having a few problems like other people have discussed..My problems are the following and the only reason I want to post about them is so that the future releases can fix the issues and just make it that much better..

1) Using Opera web browser, I noticed when trying to turn the phone sideways to landscape mode, Opera minimizes. Then when you try to go back to Opera it doesn't respond in landscape mode.

2)Pocketshield also has errors and crashes sometimes also and it makes the phone freeze up. This has only happened a couple of times when trying to unlock the phone.

3)I tried to do a RegEdit for the sliding issue going into landscape mode. It helped for a few hours but then the issue comes back. I switched from threaded to classic and then back again. Issue went away but then came back in a couple of hours also.

Would a kind soul be willing to post their wavedev.dll file from their windows folder for me? I was stupid and forgot to back mine up as I was playing. >_>

Err, sure. Just replaces the EV icon in the taskbar with an RA icon if you're in RA coverage.

What exactly is that type of coverage? How can I tell ( besides the icon ) if I am in that mode? I'm a GSM person usually so I never really paid attention to CDMA terms. Thanks for the pics btw.

I think Alltel and maybe verizion are the only ones that use revA service.
Its pretty impressive speed wise, way better than my EV signal ever was

i am not having that issue and i am still on the june 21 version. didnt get a chance to flash it to updated rom. to test that issue i opened IE and the soft keyboard pops up with it. then i slid open the keyboard and the IE window went into landscape mode, the soft keypad disappeared. how freakin sweet is that?

RevA is "Revision A" to the EV-DO 3G standard. I'm really not positive how it's disseminated across different carriers--who has what, or when they're getting it--but I know Alltel here where I live has it so I like having the icon!

(Verizon and Sprint also use RevA, but it may not be available to everyone in every area. Check your EPST data parameters, should say Rev. A if you have it...)
