Re: [ROM] [KITCHEN] [06.25.09] *Silence & MightyMike* Production

I'm currently using Silence/Mighty, but I want to give Mighty 6 a try. I read that I need to flash back to stock before upgrading to Mighty 6. While I was browsing the forum to get the stock rom, I read that there are some issues with downgrading the GPS radio. I've never specifically flashed my GPS radio, but is it changed when I flash a ROM? If I go back to stock from Silence/Mighty, am I risking bricking my phone? Or do these ROMs change the GPS radio at all? Any advice is appreciated.

idk what radio your talking bout. are you talking about the actual radio the phone uses to pick up signal? if so then that does not change. only shipped roms change the radio's they change everything.

also i would like to make a note that i read that the 1% batterty indicator gives you less battery power because its polling the battery more.

Re: [ROM] [KITCHEN] [06.25.09] *Silence & MightyMike* Production

There isn't a GPS radio? I don't know, this is what I read in ImCokeMan's signature on the custom rom sticky thread,

"WARNING: Attempting to downgrade after GPS (3.xx) upgrade can cause (at least as of now) bricking of devices (I have a dead mogul and vogue to prove it!) Also: titan GPS radio on vogue = bad idea"

It doesn't specifically mention the Touch Pro, and I couldn't find anything about it when I searched, but I didn't want to risk bricking my phone, so I thought I'd ask.

that signature is refering to the titan, not the touch pro. does not apply here. in other words, you dont have to worry about that.

Re: [ROM] [KITCHEN] [06.25.09] *Silence & MightyMike* Production

Not believing its been over 3 months since there's been a post in this thread. I feel like I'm constantly scouring the forums looking for the fastest most responsive rom on the gimped TP and every time here I am.

I try 3 roms then find myself reflashing here. The fact that the user support and donations weren't behind this compilation of cookers makes me feel incredibly sad.

Silence and Mighty you have made my personal and business life more productive because of what you did in this rom.

Thank you
