Looks like good work, but I am sticking with Mighty5 for now as it is fast, stable, and never locks for me.

I'll reconsider when MS6.5 is out and bench marked.

Silence/MightyRom comes with its own RUU. All you need to do is unRAR the folder and run the RUU. You do NOT need to download a RUU from the Flashing: How To thread.

A: 1) There is no Keyboard lag with this one.
2) There are so many different preferences as to which SoftKB is good so it is left up to you to choose (and install with a .cab)

Q: Who is this ROM geared for?
A: This Rom was made to be as close to stock without all the stock bloatware. It was meant to be faster and more stable. It doesn’t have all the latest and greatest bells and whistles but it is stable and will get you through your day (at least that the goal).

Q: What UI's are installed and available?
A: This ROM comes with TF3D 1 (no not 2!). People have installed TF3D2 on it with mixed results. It also seems to work with Point UI2 and SPB Mobile Shell 3.

Q: Why is this ROM better or worse then MightyROM5 or Silence's Rom?
A: MightyRom5 and SilenceRom are great WinMo6.5 ROMs but there are glitches as Microsoft hasn’t really fixed it up yet. Although Mighty is known for his stability, Speed isn’t as good as a SilenceRom. And Although Silence is known for speed, stability isn’t as good as Mighty. This combination between them means we get the best of both worlds. (And 6.1 is more stable then 6.5)

Q: I want to disable all the sound effects – they are annoying.
A: Start - Settings - Sounds and Notifications - Notifications Tab. Hit the "Event" drop down box, disable the sounds for whatever sound effect you don't like.

Q: What is a kitchen?
A: A kitchen is a place to cook a ROM file.

Q: How do I use this?
A: 1) First download it.
2) Extract with WinRAR or similar program. (For winRAR see here: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm)
3) Then run “build_rom.bat
Follow On-Screen Instructions

Q: A little more detail please?
A: Step 1: Run Build_Rom.bat (icon with the gear).
Step 2: Press “1” when prompted and then “Enter”
Step 3: Select what you want in you ROM. (E.G. Part 1 refers to Stock icons or Custom ones.) DO NOT CLOSE THE BLACK&WHITE SCREEN BEHIND IT (THE COMMAND PROMPT.) IT IS STILL NEEDED
Step 4: When you’re done with your selections, press the green “play button” in the top left-hand corner.
Step 5: When it finishes (bar at bottom right corner gets full and disappears), click “File/Exit”.
Step 6: The Black&White will flash a lot of text rapidly on-screen – wait…
Step 7: The Pagepool Changer will Pop-Up – use it if you want to change the PagePool - The default is 16MB (click “Choose” and select the RUU_Signed)
NOTE: change low for VZW. Change higher equals little faster but worse battery life.
Step 8: The Update utility will come up for a regular normal flash. OR you can get the RUU_Signed file from the kitchen files location (where you clicked Build_Rom folder/RUU for a SD Flash). (SD flash instructions here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333)

Q: I want to add a program that isn’t in the options of Build_OS
A: Turn it into a OEM and put it into the OEM folder. Make the folder called “0EM_XXX” (with a Zero not a O) Put the files directly in that folder – not a subfolder. The files will show up automatically checked at the bottom in their own special section!
(NOTE: these files are refered to as OEM –an O even though in the kitchen it needs a Zero)

Q: Turn files into a OEM? What?
A: Cabs, instead of being added later can be added before if they are OEM’s

A:For signal icons, check CDMA_RSSI_PPC.dll and for data arrow icons, you'll want to check in phcanOverbmp.dll and shellres.192.dll.

Q: How can I change the startup image?
A: Rename it to welcomehead.192.png and drop it off in your \Windows directory (making sure you overwrite the old one).

Q: Is anyone else here getting an error from QuickGPS?
A: Did you verify that your Location Settings are correct? Dialer - Options - Services - "Location Settings" - Hit "Get Settings" and make sure it's ON.

Q: The RAR file of the kitchen is giving a Gen:Trojan.Heur.30718E9B1A warning from my anti-virus?
A: What it’s picking up is the package builder from the tools folder. This is from the author ervius and is used by all the chefs. The program is just an alternate way to build an OEM file. It is not a virus.

Q: Does anyone know why Bluetooth pan in ICS does not work?
