yeah i will have to test that tmr. do you think it is also causing the error i am having with composing a new sms? i hit compose on the today screen, typed me and megan came up, i hit enter, it filled in her info and then it freezes with the box in teh way. there is an auto fill box that shows up at the bottom, so is there a way to get rid of the one that shows up at the top?

it could be ... it looks as if you have autocomplete turned on

it seems that since build 217xx WM6.5 autocomplete has been added or enable by default. for stability reasons i went back to a lesser build or i would scour the registry for WM6.5 autocomplete. although if a kitchen was made available with build 21806 as the base i would resume my quest for the best ROM for me

that gets you to bootloader mode...

you need to hold down the enter button (center of dpad) volume down then while holding both press and hold the power button

it is a bit tricky to do, and if you dont get it on the first try remove the battery and try till it works

I knew it was bit too easier than I was used to.

another way is to hold the power button...till the pop up..then turn "off" the phone.

while the phone is "off", hold the vol dwn/center d-pad/ and the pwr button till the hardreset screen comes on.

that is the way I do it.

is there a way to get rid off the canvas...i really like to lock my phone..and with the current canvas it takes like 3-5 rings till the slide to answer to come on...how do i get the old stock 6.1 canvas?..the ones on the previous roms and kitchen..

is clearing the storage(start/setting/system/clear storage) the same way too? coz thats how i do it..but..after full back up

hklm\security\phone\skin - set enabled to 0

that will shut off the manila phone skin and turn on the WM dialer... that is if it is included in the ROM
