whoa i wasnt expecting your guys responses. thanks for the tips.

i have recmodded browsing, but not browsingie or adobe. my map does not show any module overlaps. however, the mp4 codec is most definitely there, so maybe you are onto something.

what i noticed last night was that the uscc ROM has youtube but no streamingmedia or streamingsrcfilter. using dshow and mhub from that ROM, i have no luck. so, I will start looking at SYS, thanks again guys.

kind of unrelated, but i've noticed the service/bootlauncher entry for htcdispsvc.dll in the CDMA dshow packages - but the file is only in the GSM ROMs. you guys know anything about this file?

I had noticed that too I also notice that there are unused and dead files in oemdrivers

whats wierd is that my memory map wont have any modules overlapped BUT if I don't recmod those packages some of my apps like youtube will not work and I have other little quirks that will happen I think IMO that we may not be having any overlaps because they may not be overlapping in the porting\cooking process but overlapping on the device I might be saying that wrong
