Strange though, I can't make tmail.exe crash on stock 1.11 or 1.09 (just the above regedit and a fake imap account created) in an email or sms. I can enter a name and then backspace all day with no crashing. Either these instructions for recreating the crash are wrong in post #9 of that thread:

lol, i think that was a joke or u had too much to drink, anyway im a day behind and i think my hardware keyboard died today, im gonna update the 1st page and flash 1.11 to see if my keyboard works with a fresh rom, if not its off to advanced exchange website and get a new phone for me by thursday

I think you have to both have recipientautocomplete enabled and EZInput/xT9 installed.

I could reenable it and change the EZInput cab to disable it, but then its going to crash when people use an EZInput cab from someone else.

hay DCD (or any one else), i use FingerKeyBoard 2.1. is there any reason to install EZInput? is it just a touch screen keyboard or does it offer more? thanks

ezinput sucks and i would be happy if nobody ran it! but that day will never come, so its posted. fingerkeyboard is much better imho.
