Hi guys, sorry to bother you, i have a special request, my GF get a tp and she wants a hello kitty theme, if someone have a working theme with the energy rom ill apreciate that post the links =)

I would suggest you try those other roms out as well becuase the clocks are able be changed to the stardard reference if you like. You don't have to use the clocks that are pictured, those are just the default ones that are loaded with the rom. With the cookie, dinik, gtx, and sencity, they are very customizable as they are loaded with your choice of cht 1.8 or 2.0. Try it out!!! it will keep you busy for the next couple of hours once you see all the options that are available to you. Have fun.

I want to tell us my first impressions of Energy.HERMAN.28244.Sense2.5.Dec.21.7z

Issues:
-First I scared when my keyboard didn't worked. (Soft reset)
-When I maked a call and I received a call at same time, unknow caller displayed for eigth or ten times.
-I needed to soft-reset when the phone freeze when I changed values in config tab.

Everything else is amazing: speed, GPS, envoironment...

Call me kinda new but, I have unlocked and flashed on 2 different units, Mogul and Touchpro. about 15 times trying to find the right approach. Mogul I am set. Touchpro well verdict is still out. I keep coming back to these Energy standard roms, They seem very stable. Lots of stuff I will probably never need nor use but its the thought that counts. The only problem I'm having is: Finding the voice dial activation, button, setting, or what ever. 2. Some reason auto-correction for sms texting dropped off. Even word completion seems to not even be there. Any help would be appreciated. Other than that this is a very clean and functional Rom. One of the best that I have found. Like I said I keep coming back to it. Thanks for your time.

Easy to install and works fine first time!!

Just a question.. can i change the brown bars in contacts to be more clear with another color... impossible to see the information with this colour...

I don't think it is possible to change the brown bars/ maroon bars to a different color. However, you can just push down on the directional pad and the color highlight changes to black. I know this is not the solution you are looking for but at least it is readable with a black background.

Sorry for the n00bish question, but if I already flashed a phone to EnergyRom, do I still have to unlock it? I was running the Hard-SPL for the Touch Pro and the menus are exactly the same as the ones I ran for EnergyROM. Is it supposed to be this way? Also, is it okay that I flashed the phone, before unlocking it? Thanks.

Is there any reason that the hard keyboard is completely nonfunctional on my HTC Touch Pro? I've managed to find an option that enables sound output when the keyboard slider opens, but beyond that nothing seems to work on the keyboard. Only the buttons on the main screen accomplish basic navigation on the main menus.

I've look used the keyboard option where swype and touch are also presented for typesetting but nothing seems to get any keys working.

I'm running Titanium currently. I gave Sense 2.5 a try but I ran into the same problem, and Sense proved to be a resource hog anyway.

Great ROM, otherwise. Runs like a charm, and I love the integrated applications. Magnificent work. ;D

There is a new ROM out built on the 28244 build. I flashed it to my test Touch Pro and am liking it a lot, seems nice and snappy but haven't fully tested it out - Give it a try! I am attempting to contact NRGZ28 to see if he is going to build a 29005 for us on the Touch Pro.

Ok, i *think* i've fixed the MMS-causing-txts-to-disappear bug. It's confusing but what i think is happening is that when an MMS comes in, incoming message mode switches from SMS to MMS.

So incoming txts dont show anymore because they're 'hidden' when an MMS comes in and the app changes to MMS mode. Unfortunately, this ROM doesn't have a default way of switching BACK to SMS mode, so you get 'stuck' in MMS mode indefinitely and it makes it appear as if all of your texts are gone.

However, when you install the sprint MMS cab (not arcsoft - this one here), it creates the ability to now view both the MMS folder and the SMS folder. Go to the messaging app and show the tree. Now instead of just SMS and Email, you have three distinct branches: SMS, MMS, and Email. Now you can view both SMS and MMS separately!

Sending MMS also appears to work ok. Sending pics to yourself, anyway. Not sure about audio or other stuff but when i sent some images to my own number, it came through.

Hope this helps the other guys racking their brain trying to fix this.

I'm quoting a year old post, but it was the top search result and I happen to be using a nrg rom now that has this issue. I've only used/cared about mms for a few months so i'm way out of the loop on it. is this a common problem with the arcsoft? do we really need arcsoft?
I wish palringo would take over all messaging.

I am running Energy.HERMAN.28244.Sense2.5.Dec.21 (Hermann Standard Energy), and having a little problem. The MMS and SMS messaging keeps switching and deleting messages and found that either the Arcsoft 5.2.85 or the Sprint Picture Mail updates will fix that. However every time I try to install it the cab installer keeps saying that I do not have enough permissions to install/update; that is the first I have ever heard of that. Is there a way for change the system permissions..... because I haven't seen anything. Especially since I'm also trying to uninstall Opera Mini 9.6 and replace it with Opera Mobile 10 and can't.
