No, I had the same problem. ONLY SMS seems to not work with the keyboard, intermittently. If I open up the notes program and try to use the keyboard, it is always detected and works fine. Must be some issue with the SMS program.

I'm having the same problem as well. The other thing I noticed is pressing the home button is not taking me back to the home screen. Keyboard appears to only not work in SMS like others.

ok, supposedly the cookie hometab is the best rom there is, i would like to get that rom but like the theme of the gtx one, is that possible?

People, install any cab that makes you soft reset and your keyboard works. Read previous pages and you can find this info.

If your keyboard does not work, use a cab that will make you soft reset!!!

cookie does not get along well with GTX yet. You can try to install the cookie theme and editor onto any ROM you like. Just be careful with GTX... again, cookie doesnt like it very much..

Anyone solved the problem with the non-responsive keyboard in this Energy Rom Max Manila version May 02 besides just doing a simple cab install to reset the device. I have done the flash dance multiple times and I rest the device manually and inside Energy Rom itself. any other suggest would be appreciated.

Oh! yeah, any one got YouTube to work properly with this Rom. I get an error, not enough free space to run a 8Mb min. is required to operate. I get this error message soon after hard resetting and a memory check comes back with 220.00 Mb Free storage space and 100.00 Mb Free program space.

Yeah, alternately, you can solve the problem with the keyboard by using the XDA_UC cooked into the rom. once it soft resets, it will allow the keyboard to be utilized.
