Already done. Booting up now. Hopefully this flash, which will be the third flash of this ROM, "takes." The first two were ActiveSync. I can't possibly imagine a bad download with CRC checking and all that.

theyre not uploaded yet. if theyre not at the hotfile directory, then NRG hasnt uploaded yet. VGA devices are generally the last ones to get updated.

But it also still goes to a blank screen if I flick up while in the quick launch area. It will do this on both pages. Any idea what that is for?

EDIT: Great. Added another e-mail...and the phone was slowing down and acting weird. I soft reset and for the first time in the history of my TP, it has hard reset on me. This is the second flash and I did hard reset after. Am I supposed to re-download or should I re-flash? Why does this happen to some people? I'm not doing anything different...

EDIT 2: Now it won't even install a cab or let me USB sync. I feel like I've read about this before. I soft reset, and it is hard resetting again. I may have to find a way to copy the NBH to the SD card and flash from that. This is turning into a big PITA...

sometimes for reasons unknown things get corrupted. and it definately sounds like a bad flash. whenever i get weird things goin on i delete the one that had issues and redownload it. i also find i have great success flashing straight from bootloader every time i flash

Its possible your issue is with active sync. On my old computer anytime I'd sync the phone with it after a few minutes I'd no longer be able to install cabs, set alarms or change anything. Was driving me crazy until I figured out that it was after syncing that it did it. I quit syncing with that computer. Never did figure out specifically what caused it.

No that wasn't it. Whatever happened caused sync not to work, though. It also removed the wall paper, turned the theme green, and even prevented the phone from connecting to the computer in mass storage mode. Yeah it was messed up. I just flashed off SD and sync'd with exchange (wirelessly).

Maybe I'll give it a day or two before I connect my two POP3 accounts. It sucks because I had JUST set up all my quick link stuff and a few other settings.

no worries mate, like i say were usually around the end of the line for the uploads..he does a crazy amount of devices and VGA is typically last
