I Flashed the Rom a couple of days ago with the new one released on the 6th i think. I love it so far. Its wierd some parts work faster then the standard sprint rom and some are slower. I was hoping for the contacts tab like in the hd2 but i really got this for updated opera and the calendar tab. Most of the bugs don't bother me as the sprint rom had bugs too. the only thing that is really giving me a problem is the contact edit. When i go to edit contacts info the screen won't scroll i wanted to know if this is a known issue and if it is is there a fix. if not im sure i can wait for the new rom when i know it will be better than this awesome ROM. NRGZ you are AWESOME.

If you're talking about the problem with incoming texts showing the year 2016, try the Ziggy 2016 fix. It's in the attachments of this thread. It worked for me, and I have a Sprint TP. Hope that helps.

Great ROM! I'm gonna keep my touch pro for a little longer now! One question, I've tried to do the " *228 " verizon tower update, and it just doesn't do it. It doesn't re boot or acknowledge any of it. The phone's working ok, just don't ever see all the bars like I used to. Any ideas? Thanks again, great rom!

It did the same to me, I have an Alltel TP. I believe the programs were not being unallocated out of RAM and even being reloaded with the device was restarted. I just thought it was some buggy form of hibernate that microsoft was testing but my phone was constantly hot when I didn't use it, the screen never turned off on its own, and the battery life was horrible (due to 120mb of ram being used). I just reflashed to the January build and I'll wait till the next release.

Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.CAB - This has been posted in numerous places and people say it helps with messaging. I do the 3 steps below (which installs arcsoft) and I do not believe with the 3 below that this cab is needed. Could someone clarify?

Disable Sense from today screen and install these in order:


1.Remove PictureMail and Arcsoft.cab
2.JD Arcsoft 5.2.1.22.cab
3.CMYLXGOs.Rhodium.SMS.App-Disable.cab

Oh nice, Google Maps 4. Is there any real difference except for the addition of Google Buzz? It seems it's the same application as 3 for WM devices.

I was noticing some issues with my device booting up properly after soft resets. Sometimes the device would not come back up properly. I even tried Flash dacning, but after I would install my apps the problem would return. So I removed Sprint TV, since SprintTV's hack does not help it work with the current ROM (Feb 6 21891). And I also removed NFL Mobile Live, since it's no longer football season. Now my device runs without any problems and soft resets without any problems at all. I don't know if the issue was with SprintTV or NFL Mobile Live, I suspect it was Sprint TV.

Just wanted to mention in case anyone was having issues after soft resets.

Is there a fix for getting HTC volume control back? I just have the 6.5 volume control and I assume NRG intended for the HTC volume control to work.
