Yea, that's also possible - you should read the Max Manila Thread to see how much it does. To help illustrate, check my new screen shot - sorry, I should have set it up the first time better. THIS is what you REALLY want.

EDIT: there are a bunch of clocks that come with the mod by default - you can toggle through them easily on the homescreen. If you don't like any of the default ones, there are clock packs as well.

If you're talking about the 4 buttons for SMS and stuff, like in the above screen shots, those can be removed from the Max Mod in the settings area. If you flick up teh screen, just like now, we have the program quick links stil intact...only there are options for 16 or 20 shortcuts.

Check out the Max Mod Thread...it does everything you'd be looking for to customize Manila 2.5.

How do I get to the settings menu to remove those solid white icons? According to the earlier images, I'm to click on the bottom of the icons that aren't visible on the Touch Pro...

to turn them off while on home screen,flick either left or right on the screen to access settings,then turn alerts off
