Hi, I'm kinda new to the manila 2.5 scene....

I'm looking for a Background4all cab that works with the latest version of EnergyRom 21877... I searched and tried Rotastrains cab but that messed up manila for me and i had to remove it....

Also any help for a transparent clock would be appreciated.... Tried max manila 2.5 but didnt work for me....

Thanks in advance

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28005/21877) |Nov27| Sense 2.1 and 2.

Hello,
I have been using energy rom for more than a week now and this is what I have noticed.

-Greatly improved overall speed and functionality over the new stock rom.
-The gps locks on unbelievably faster than the new stock rom.

However:
--Unable to install Mircosoft .net CF 3.5 or Titanium weather...
--Using the [FN] button on the hardware keyboard along with any of the FN keys is very glichy.
--Holding the volume up or down while in a program causes it to go into a painfully long loop.
--The version of youtube provided does not work at all (this was solved by installing the new version)

Is anyone else noticing these issues?

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5

Someone suggested using the following cab, NRGZ28 23504 VGA Dialer Fix, to fix the issue with the phone dialer misalignment issue (i.e., the Keypad and End call buttons are scrolled off the bottom edge of the screen when a call is connected making it virtually impossible to use these buttons.)

However, this cab file does NOT provide a permanent solution. I have tried installing this cab file when I encountered the phone dialer misalignment issue on build 21876 HERMAN 25.Nov.2009 Standard NEWKERNEL and 28004 HERMAN 25.Nov.2009 Standard NEWKERNEL. The problem with the phone dialer misalignment issue always returns eventually.

Does anybody else have any other suggestions for fixing the phone dialer misalignment issue?

I tried using the scroll bar on the right side to bring these buttons back into view, but it does not work.

The only thing I have found in my search is to try installing these two cabs (CMYLXGOs.PURE.EnergyROM.Tachi.Phone.Canvas.Knop.v 2d and Maxx134TachiDialerTEMPFix). Will this fix the phone dialer alignment issue?

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28005/21877) |Nov27| Sense 2.1 and 2.

After some useless investigation of some other ROMs, I decided to come back home and try the 21877 build. I tried the 28005 and found it a bit unstable. The 877 is as stable as the 005 is unstable. I am so happy with it. I miss the set up of the beta build but I will gladly sacrifice it for the speed and functionality of the other. Any known problems yet? Thanks NRG for your effort in putting out an awesome product, as usual. Looking forward to some future greatness. Rock on bro!

I guess the MMS issues have carried over into this ROM too?

It either doesn't recognize the button press at all or thinks I'm trying to push left, down or home instead. It's got me just about ready to throw my phone out a very tall window...
Thanks, good to know... I think.

I have had the manner mode notification pop up once.

I've had freeze-ups while charging on the latest release but I have no idea if it's due to the ROM.
Freeze up's while charging is a common problem with the TouchPro, it did that on my phone when I was on the Stock ROM before I ever flashed it. Got the phone replaced once, and it started doing it again when it was fully charged and would sit on the charger for an extended period of time. HTC wasn't able to tell me what would cause this issue.

Your post listed the EXACT problems I was having a day ago until I did the dance. That cleared up everything for me. Have your tried doing the full stock-hard reset-flash again routine? It happenned to work for me...
