yeah it is the rom, opera 9.5 and 9.7 both in this rom and both wont load alos quick gps doesnt work other than that the rest seems good

If you want to lock your screen on pwr off then you can look into S2U2, which has been reported to have problems with the latest builds, including myself. Or you can use pocket shield, but it's not free and less eye candy as S2u2. I am currently using a cab that enables the WM lock screen on power off becuz it does the job and I don't really care about all the fancy things those programs provide. didn't see the second part of your question, to turn off the data after a certian time. go to advance config under tools. Go to the right soft key "menu" then select more settings. Under that selection go to connections. YOu'll see options to disconnect after certain amount of time to your liking. But I haven't seen any battery life gain from that and confirmed by some others. As far as tying you screen off to data off....... dont' think it's out there yet.

that my friend would be a great feature.... hopefully someone can create a app that would lock the phone and turn off data at the same time

Some would argue that idle data doesn't drain battery, but i've seen it wake up my screen because of data running in background

Alright uploading a modified version of the 2.5 ROM now, title Nov14. Recmodded some big modules and added DRMMiddleware to see if it stops the ringtone issues. Can someone please download and test ? Thanks

p.s. Wish I had a Herman to test on my own. Aaaaaanybody got a spare one ?

I did.. for a few hours. Woke up and noticed someone sent me a donation for yesterday's ROMs. That made me happy.. hehe

lets work together to make this crap work righ on the Herman. I dont have this ringtone problem on ANY other ROMs I make. Veery weird...

@NRG,
THanks a lot for your hard work. I am grabbing the Nov.14 now and will test all day today.
I've been using the Nov.10 23504 for the past 4 days, and is rock solid for me. Everything works, granted it's not 2.5 which is why, but speed is great and no problems. That's my new default. But i will try Nov.14 now and test a bunch. At least i know WM msg works, even though it sucks big ones :P All the other ones i have been testing and using of both 2.5 versions weren't usable for me personally. Hopefully we're starting to get there with todays build.
