Yes I had the exact issue! I flased to Topaz ROM yesterday, its FLAWLESS now

correct, ezinput 2.1 messes up your hardware keyboard this is a very well known issue with no fix. just a work around. also for ? and everything else if u hold down the shift key while pressing it the buttons should work.

it only qorks for the ? which i dont use that often its the underscore i want lol... but you said their was a fix to this?

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet or not, but the 10/28 build (Beta test?) really fixed a lot of problems for my Alltel phone. I was never able to make MMS work on 10/25 (even following the proper procedure), but it works fine now. The GPS also found me almost instantly instead of a few minute wait. I don't know how many of you had these problems, but they may be fixed with this build.

there is a keyboard config cab that was posted in this thread, you can use it to "reset" those hardware keys, to what ever you want. I believe it was rootlinux who posted a tutorial on hoe to set it up... just use search feature its here..
