Yeah, I use PocketPutty for the most part. There's a modified version that gives you hotkeys for escape and fullscreen etc...

The other one I used when pocketPutty started failing on these new builds was Token2Shell Mobile. This had the same issue with the fonts showing up as solid blocks but there was a bitmap option that let me get around it. (Though the client itself is harder to send escape/function buttons in)

I've been getting around it by booting into android if I know I want to do a bunch of SSH stuff, (ConnectBot is an AWESOME client for mobile) but at the moment Android only has approx 4 hours of battery life.

ok just wanted to throw my input in here. i was funning the 1/18 build since, well, 1/18 and have been loving it (2.1 build). decided to test the waters with the newer build and flashed to the 2.5 build. flashed last night and noticed this morning my alarm didn't work. no biggie, went to work and played with it for a minute. received a call this morning and phone would not stop vibrating. answered call but couldn't really hear over the vibration lol. soft-reset on phone. now it is sitting at the touchpro boot screen and not moving. will not boot past here. looks like i am the only one with this issue so far but just a heads up.

You've gotten farther than I have. My version (Feb 28, 2007) just refuses to connect to anything at all ("Unable to open connection to..."). Sounds like you found a newer build that will at least connect, but no fonts still. I'm assuming you've tried playing around with the font selection in the Window tab to no avail.
