That's correct. ...I'm not 100% comfortable with calling this 23081 version of the 2.5 Manila "ready for prime time". If you're going to keep it on your device and use it, you're going to need to do some work and apply some work arounds to get the basic functions going.

So, you can use the pop settings to sync your email. If you need to sync your contacts, as a work around you might look into bouncing your Hotmail info over to a Gmail account and syncing through Exchange.

Or, wait until the next release, which I'm sure will be coming down the pipe soon enough.

What Build are you using...and what did you do? Did you receive an error? Walk me through your steps. It's working fine here on 23081.

Next try checking Mode of Operation to see if it's set to "Hybrid"...this toggles EVDO.

Really those are just guesses. My experience traveling around with GPS is that functionality differed greatly in different parts of the country. It is possible that your GPS issues are location dependent somehow...but that wouldn't add up if everything was fine when you went to the stock ROM.

If I come across anything, I'll pass it along.

I set to Standard. I'll try home just for kicks when I leave today to see if that makes a difference. I'm not finding the setting for Hybrid, but I am on a REVA connection.

I dumped the rom again last night and reloaded the stock alltel rom and GPS started working again instantly. Put NRG back on, and no GPS.

Currently running 23081 2.5 ROM and will be trying out 21864 (Both Nov4)

One thing on all builds.. not a big deal...

MyPhone has a newer version out and it forces you to update and reboot at first connection. Maybe you can cook the newer one into your ROMs??

Again not a big deal, just didnt know if you aware... I appreciate all you do!!

SMS. I installed zenyee Disable HTC messaging and installed JD Arcsoft cab and now i do have a send button on my SMSs but when i click send i get SIM card is missing?????

i don't think anyone has posted this error before!!! any ideas???
