Re: *ROMs* *6/10* *SsS-ROMv0120* *WM6.5(21501.5.0.70)* *Rhodium Manila* *EzInput2.0*

Has anyone had their device lose all its messaging info? I went to use my phone today to find that my email accounts were deleted and I had no more text messages. Everything else on the phone is intact. I've never experienced this before.

Could it be because I'm storing my messages on the storage card?

If youre storing it all on your card, its a strong possibility that's why. Never happened to me before, and I hope it doesn't. did you do anything in particular before it happened?

On second thought i may be wrong about the text reply window remaining open when sliding out the keyboard using the stock Sprint rom. I remember now that I was using the app "gyrator 2" in order to automatically rotate my open text message/email window when sliding the keyboard out. In any case if it's not addressed in this rom update then you can always use "gyrator 2" and you can have it set to allow rotate to landscape while using the text message/email window. The app does use more battery but it gets the job done. If Deck could enable the accellerometer for the text messaging/email window that would be pure sweetness!!! Hint Hint... LOL

It stays open so that you can continue writing your reply. I'm glad you brought this up!!! This is definetely a feature we all would like to see fixed in the updated rom. This has been dissapointing with this rom but i have been able to overlook it because of the overall greatness of this rom. Are you reading Deck?
i dont have this rotating problem. Can u explain how to make this happen?

ok heres where im at. I just about have a full functioning manila with out any bugs! here are the only 2 bugs left that i can see...

1. Edit Contact Scrolling - This is caused by the 'HTC New Contact Card'. This also controls the facebook integration. So basically until somone fixes it, its either scrolling or facebook, and i choose facebook

2. Facebook Says Connection Failed - This is caused by the latest ContactUtility Engine. If you get Connection Failed when trying to log in to Facebook, don't trip. Just hit 'OK', and cancel. Re-enter your contact card and u will see that it updated ur information. Then u can choose to use the profile pic and what not.

Everything else is working like a charm...

Also, next version will have a sneak peak of my custom WM6.5 icons I am not the biggest fan of most of the taskbars out there. I kept the WM6.5 look, and spiced it up

Didn't do anything. I've been so busy at work that I don't have time to mess with my phone lately. The ROM is fairly stable and works well. I went to check my text messages randomly to find that they were gone. Same with my email accounts - all I get is a "Tap to Set Up Email".

Deck, are you using 1.0.0.7p? I ended up installing it anyways because I couldn't tell which version you cooked in. Mine stays at the "Fetching..." screen and never ends up updating the app.

There's a program I use called G-Config and it's just like Gyrator. It allows you to add any program to the auto rotate list. It's very nice.
