I honestly believe something is up with Opera because I haven't installed anything yet. I compared opera mobile builds with mighty rom5 wm6.5and the version in his rom is actually newer if that makes any difference. a side by side comparison with both of my touch pros convinced me that opera in his rom works great while the version in this SsS rom suffers from frequent lock-ups and freezes. I really want to stay with this rom over mighty's rom or anyone elses because i like the look, feel and overal feature & performance of this rom. Heck why not replace Opera with a later stable version and see what happens? What about internet explorer? can it be updated as well or is this the latest version?

great rom, I'm loving everything but the only bug that I have encountered is the fact that my alarms are not working. they are set but they don't go off. When they are supposed to go off the page where you set your alarms comes up. Has anyone else encountered this? This is essential to me because I rely on my phone to help me wake up for important appointments

I will check the alarms out and post back. I just discovered a display glitch. While in internet explorer typing this message with the stock keyboard, if i press the home button it goes to homescreen but has the web page showing at the top and bottom of the screen. this causes the task manager and other icons to be inaccessable. i had to poke around in the dark to finally get the start button to access the programs menu and tapped internet explorer icon to get it back up. It never locked up or anything, it just seems to have display glitches which reminds me of the problem with opera mobile when it freezes and locks the phone up. By no means am i complaining, i just want to give input so deck can hopefully perfect this awesome rom.

edit: after a soft reset i'm not getting the internet explorer display overlay glitch anymore. i retested and it's not doing it again at this time.

I will confirm that the alarms are not working. i set 2 alarms and set the alarm tones. when it went off it give a milisecond beep and a short vibrate and thats it. it did not pop up the alarm screen like you mentioned.the alarm icon showed in the task bar and when i tapped it the alarm reminder/snooze screen showed like normal. we definetely need this fixed!

I installed GAlarm with the Diamond Black theme. I like the large snooze buttons.

Same here, works a treat. I then mapped it to the clock and it is great.

I can also vouch for this issue. I tend to be a news junky and I get completely booted out of Opera when zooming and panning the cnn Web Site. I will also say that I found that my battery is lasting soooo much longer now. I don't know what you did but I'm still at 50% 24 hours later. Aside from the few small bugs left, this is the best Rom I've used. Great job ... Keep it up!

I am also having problems with opera. It seems to be unstable.
