What flavor Exchange server are you trying to sync with? I'm syncing fine on 0307-S with an Exchange 2003 server.

Not using an exchange server, just activesync 4.5 on my personal home computer. Syncing with Outlook 2003 professional

I understood you entirely and correctly, I was responding to what you said about you never backup contacts with PIM because it takes too long. But I think you have it backwards, text messages take a very long time to put back on whether the order is incorrect or not is irrelevant to my statement. I'm saying that contacts take minutes to restore while texts messages take a few hours.

Restore your contacts first without anything else and you can see.

use FN + Spacebar, hit the ABC, then either soft reset, or get out of the program u are in and relaunch the SIP.

can u tell me what versions u are using... i.e.

windows?
activesync or mobile device center?
