Re: *ROM* *9/10* *SsS-ROMv0305* *WM65(23017.5.3.0)* *Rhodium Manila2.1* *EzInput2.1*

Hello, I upgraded to the latest release last night, and I think there may be something wrong with the alarm clock.. As I was 20 minutes late for work this morning.. LOL when I woke up i looked at phone and the home screen said alarm was "off"

On my way to work i set it for a couple minutes in advance, and it worked. Not sure what happened over night to make it not work. Also I have the alarm set right now, but the home screen still says its "off"

Also, i dont know if its deprecated or not, but i cant find where to turn on 911 location settings anymore.

Thanks!

I was having the same problems as others on v305 and so far, this .cab seems to have fixed that!

A couple things to report.
The responsiveness of the touch screen just seems terrible. I feel like I am almost putting my finger through my phone to get it to register. The registry edits mentioned before in this thread seemed to help a little, but not much. Some programs even take forever just to register a screen tap.

Under phone settings, there is a tab for CDMA Services. The settings for the services are a little jacked up. I always double check that Automatic Prepend is off, and instead of Yes or No, it says Radio 1 and Radio 2. It is like that in the other settings as well.

Also, under the Advanced tab in the phone settings, nothing can be checked or unchecked.

And for some reason, my backlight settings are changing for no apparent reason.

Just a few things I have found. Dont know if anyone else is having these issues. Glad you went back to 23017!

Just to pass a little knowledge someone gave me not long ago. Clear the memory on the phone. Flash it back to the original stock rom. Clear the storage on that. Apply the custom rom and it should work like a charm. Its seems that if you keep applying roms, the phone gets sluggish. i had that problem and every couple of updates i do this and it works fine.....

Hey is this rom taking longer to get to the ''preparing device for first use'' screen than previous ones?

It's getting stuck (at least apparently) at the orange/yellow/orange'ish windows logo screen. Help?

I flashed it a second time just to check, still waiting now.

Nevermind, it worked.

Deck is my bff

wow this thing is fast.

The keyboard fix works for me!

I'm still having the issue with the sip icon at the bottom of the screen repeating the last character, though it only happens once; the second tap hides the sip.

Also, is there any way to disable the arrow keys on the on screen keyboard? With them almost the entire display is taken up, which makes the thing almost useless (in my opinion.)

you should be able to use the "x" next to the arrows to close them until you need them.

I experienced the same issues regarding the network settings. I've flashed back to 300-B6 which has the correct network setting options for now.

I too flashed back to 300-B6 for now. Was anyone else having strange touch screen issues with 0305?

Here's what was happening to me. The screen had an overall lack of responsiveness, soft keys misbehaving, and HTC Menu enhancements coming up when requested, then dissaperaing before you have a chance to touch an option?

Any answer would help. It seems I can't get a response on this one since I asked a while ago. Would appreciate some feedback, even if it's a simple "No, mine works fine".

Thanks all!
