Just like the previous kitchen builds, after loading the new rom was finished (with default settings) it would just hang at the Touch Pro boot Screen with the Red Radio and ROM text, prior to any loading animations. I too had the dreaded boot hang with the red text until I read on another thread to check Real WM 6.5 AKU. Gave it a try and I have had no problems with building a rom with the kitchen when it's checked.

new to cooking so im sorry if this is a dumb question:

if i click on the "Erviuskitchen.exe" i get " initialization error "

and then windows tells me " Erviuskitchen.exe has encountered a probmem and needs to close .." ect...

any ideas? running windows XP

so its official, this kitchen will never work for me...so when I was running win 7 RTM I couldn't build a ROM with the kitchen as it would fail every time, so I would use virtual pc to run it in a fully updated xp sp 3 set up...now with the official win 7 release...it will not work at all for me. Every time it fails at the platformrebuilder.exe any suggestions? Is it possible to use a different kitchen with the same setup? I heard 1.6 doesnt have the same problems as 1.8 any one have any ideas?

Why are you and WAh-wah such a$$4ole$?
If you use ppcg right you will be notified when sac posts a new rom.
Till then test another or make your owen.
But just stop with the WA WA WA WA

Easy... easy now.... I'm guessing slow/no donations = slow/no work! And he's probably on a TP2 now like all the others.

I burned one of these a while back & loved it, but wasn't ready to give up all the Windows & manila. So I made a hybred, you can too. Google XDA for iPhone Today cab, download to SD card. Get Calkulins latest kitchen & check the "Second Today" application, and any others you want, burn ROM & set up iPhone Today as a left soft key toggle; to read iPhone in Manila & Windows in iPhone, pressing the same LSoft key toggles back & forth between the 2 seemlessly. Install your fav apps/cabs & you're done.

Best of both worlds while you wait for the iPhone master SAC to update this forum!

just installing iphone today isnt what is great about coolsac's roms...when they work, I get around 25-35% of memory usage at any given time...with every other rom it starts at over 50% --more than anything these kitchens don't work...I dont think it has anything to with coolsac, but I am sure confused.

ok to all that are going crazy about my stuff, literally and figuratively lol. there has been good and bad news recently for both you and i. so first and for most im saving up to get a touch pro 2, but i would never forget my touch pro community and most likely if i do get the touch pro 2 i will still keep my touch pro for rom development because im so used to it. so be patient if it doesnt kill you lol. secondly, my computer was thrown against a wall two weeks ago so my HDD was destroyed and all my work after the kitchen 12 release was gone with it. which is a bummer for those who were looking for a iclone release because i was going to release my next rom that week. but all is not lost. i remember what i was going to put in it and i have all my tools. i need to make some more of the packages that i had for kitchen 13 again. but u should see something new soon. thirdly, it may take some time because as you know i play football and it is in the middle of the season and i didnt do as well on my midterms as i expected. so if there are any helpers feel free to lend a hand. send me packages that you like, tools, etc.
