Yeah thats sucks. I just got back from camping for the weekend and I had no bars at the lake, well there were a few spots with service but you had to walk around in circles to find them , lol. Anyways I would burn through my whole battery in about 4 hours with virtually NO use at all , but the phone is constantly looking for service and kills the battery.

thats exactly what i think my problem is maybe ill force 1x and try to keep usage to a minimum and see how that works out. thank you for your help hope pocketshield doesnt kill as much battery as s2u2 does.

No problem and I think you'll see a significant increase in battery life using PocketShield instead of s2u2. s2us is a beautiful app but it comes at a price.
