I am not sure if this has been asked I have searched on here and xda and havent been able to find an answear. In this rom the new wm6.5 sytyle bubble lookin selection that is used in the messageing and file explorer is disable and it looks like the older wm 6.1. Is there a regedit or any other way to renable it.

Silence already used it to map the clock to missed calls. This is actually better than mapping it to galarm b/c there is not a lag when you touch the clock. Galarm takes a few seconds to pull up.

He has the g-alarm mapping in some of the ROMs he posted, I guess just the older ones.

That is caused by an older buggy version of the Media Toolkit OEM, you can fix it on your device by deleting or renaming HTCPhotoPicker.exe in \windows. The net effect of getting rid of that file is that when you go to choose a wallpaper or contact photo you get the old windows mobile picture and video viewer instead of Album. Totally functional but not pretty.

Correct, the facebook standalone application is totally separate from the facebook contact card integration, and I believe also totally separate from the album "upload to facebook" feature (if he has that). The contact card integration is a little tricky...

The best way to do it is to go to the people tab, tap 'all people', slide to the 'updates and events' tab, then hit the menu softkey, select data connection sharing and enable 'Download data automatically'. It should prompt you for your username and password which may fail, but after it fails hit cancel and it should log you in anyway (known bug). After that it may prompt you to link your contacts to their facebook accounts. If not, simply go to any of your individual contacts, slide to the 'updates and events' tab and try to 'link profile to facebook'. I believe it tries to link by the first and last name IF they have their name listed on their facebook profile and only if they are already your facebook friend.

Doing it that way I can find all my friends who have facebook accounts, and for some I had to change the first and last name in my address book to their real name as I had a lot of nicknames for them in my address book which obviously do not appear on facebook.

Im just amazed!! There is no lag the keyboard has skins sounds and other goodies..
This makes texting easier for both hardware and Sip keyboards..!!

The cab can also be installed over the 2.5 or the buggy 3.0 version.

The 3.0 album shouldn't be buggy, I prefer it over 2.5 and you can still upload pictures to facebook with the facebook app (or even with the native windows mobile pictures and video app I believe). The only issue I've seen with album 3.0 is the zooming in landscape issue which is fixable. Frankly I prefer the double-tap zooming in 3.0 than the weird g-scroll circle zooming in 2.5 which always seemed kind of clunky IMHO.

I really DISLIKE the new Comm Manager. What is up with all the buttons now mapped to configuration instead of the on/off switching of the communication services. It's really frustrating trying to switch the bluetooth on and off, phone, etc when you click the on/off switch and instead of switching on/off, a configuration menu pops up. Doesn't even make sense as why would it show on/off switch when it's just configuration?

By the way I love the rom, just don't like the comm manager part.

If you press the on/off area, it will turn it off. if you press to the left, it will go to settings.
