If it was there originally, I would think that I soft reset might bring it back, but I think this is the tool you're looking for.

Yours was the first ROM I thought of when I decided to flash from OEM.
You didn't disappoint... works like a charm.

So what benefits would there be to upgrading to 6.5?

Oldman is an advocate of 6.5 I personally hate it. That's the problem with asking whether one version is better than the other, it all boils down to user preference. I'd recommend trying it, and if you don't like it switch back.

There is no real benefit...The main thing is look and feel. I do think it does use more memory than 6.1, but not sure....never measured it.

Probably the biggest change in 6.5 is that it's more "finger-friendly" and some of the "Titanium" tools will be nice, once they work the bugs out of them. However, it is a visual change that you have to get used to....Kinda like going from XP to Vista....same stuff....different visuals

Like Tony said....try it....you can always flash back, and it's "free" to try....doesn't cost anything.

Re: 12 May - SSK 2.0 Final for the Verizon Touch Pro - 6.1 Stable and 6.5 Preview! Se

to reinstall all the cabs that you normally use, try Sashimi. it installs to your memory card, and has folders in it for auto manual installs, which are then broken into cab, reg, xml, yadda yadda yadda. just drop your files into whatever catagory they fit in and away you go. I have mine setup so that once I re-flash, I run Shashimi and it installs all my programs and sets up my email account. now Im gonna figure out how to get it to automatically instal the registration info for Kinoma play and I wil be all set and fully automated.

I agree. To get registration keys with the least amount of searching and work, I use Tracker 2 made by the same people who have SKTools. Makes finding the keys easy.
