What is "G53.0" ..... it is the answer to all ... it is designed for the SPCS user that has the need for the "stock feel" .... G53.0 is designed to mimic the original stock Sprint ROM with a Windows Mobile 6.5 base to give myself and whoever that wants to use it the idea custom ROM that is functional and complete I have tested all of the included apps to make sure that they are compatible and perform fast and blah blah blah ..... blah .... blah blah blah ... and it also yada yada yada and yada yada ... so when you need to quinch your thirst and that mighty juice just and gettin' it ... take a look at my star and let this be the phantom to silence your psyche ..........................

When in the phone app if you are using the HTC Dialer scrolling down using the dpad may cause the text to become blurry

Download the kitchen ........ extract to where ever you want .... add what ever OEM's to the "OEM" directory or make your own using the OEMizer then click where it says "click here to start" build and enjoy

Basically its a brake down of the OEM SPCS ROM with some updated apps and some added apps if there is something that you want added provide me the OEM and I will do what I can to get it in .......

i liked your kitchens of the past... but what about those of us who dont want stock? i dont want manila. i want titanium. and i want your stability, speed, and non power-draining rom.

Excellent!! That is exactly the ROM I'm looking for. All the stock feel with the 6.5 base. Hopefully you are able to build it WITHOUT 'touchflo 3.0'. The problem with most of the custom ROMS is that they include the touchflo 3.0 scrolling software which over-rides the 6.5 kinetic scrolling. Additionally the touchflo 3.0 slows down graphical performance by up to 25%. If you can build it the right way, I'll be all over your new ROM

well not really actually some use an old cdma tf3d or they may be using tf3d2 in my rom I do include a slight updated gsm tf3d which performs faster but at any rate you can just disable it or try the rom out then use the kitchen to build one that will suit you

By the way, I am glad you mentioned GSM. While I have always loved your kitchens, I noticed they must be GSM based since the standard CDMA dialog doesnt exist for phone settings. I noticed your roms produce nomenclature like "NAM" , etc... when CDMA based roms speak more to HOME / etc. Doesnt seem to cause problems, but it makes me worry a little. Anything you could tell us about that?

Also, you have spoken many times about being Sprint tuned. I too am using sprint, so that makes me happy, but if these are GSM based ROMS, how are they sprint tuned?

when I say gsm I am only speaking of the software that I am using like manila I never use the CDMA versions because they are slower and do not get updated and frequently as the GSM does ... so to make it simple say at&t releases a stock ROM I would update my software from that ROM before I would lets say a Telus ROM ...

Non taken. He did state in previous posts that he will not be updating his Rom pages with updates after updates. Sometimes he does throw a bone to people that read into the posts. if you check page 58 or 59 of the g52 post, The beta one he leaked was g53beta1. Your answer was simple but not sure if correct. thank for the input tho.

Well i will give you a bit of information you don't know. I test roms for JD. Not this one in particular, but we talk all the time and i am fully aware of all his updates. This is a new rom with a new build number. Flash and enjoy:mrgreen:

I'm not talking about the touchflo3d, I'm talking about the touchflo 3.0 scrolling software. You know, the part that enables momentum scrolling. The 6.5 kinetic scrolling is much better, but won't work if you include the touchflo 3.0.

actually yeah I figured you were talking about that ..... however "touchflo" is the kinetic scrolling from htc controlled by a couple of drivers and a driver known as "biotouch" what MS has is a form of scrolling known as the "Physics Engine" and "Touch Recognizer" that will work with the correct versions of "biotouch" but it is not need anymore .... plus I did use it for a beta rom but it caused problems with the onscreen keyboard

Rom is looking good! Fast with kinetic scrolling working correctly. The only things I don't like so far are the missing htc volume control and the older build of opera. I prefer the 15954 version Opera for speed and stability. As some point it would also be nice to have the new Manilla version, but it is buggy at the moment on 6.5. I also noticed that with every soft reset I'm forced to recalibrate the screen.

Edit: HTC task manager add-on is not installed. You know, the icon by the clock for quickly switching applications or closing as needed. I really like having that, but I see there's no check box for showing the icon.

Thanks for the feedback .... I used the older version of Opera for the time being so that Sprint music would work correctly you can always install whatever version you use as for the HTC Volume the HTC Dialer is not compatible with the newer builds of 6.5 so since the windows standard dialer cannot be control with the HTC Volume I had to pull it

No it is not the shell32.exe is different on this build forcing the battery over on the taskbar
