Re: [ROM] [JUNE.01.09] MightyROM4 [Windows Mobile 6.1 CE OS 21051 Build 21051.1.6.4]

Now that I've gone through the process of 'fixing' the bluetooth related internet connection issue, I really dont think that a 'hotfix' is necessary...even though I was the first to ask for one (being the lazy b@astard that I am). The only two 'network adapter' settings I had to change was 'Bluetooth PAN Driver' and the 'NDISWAN Miniport'; it was pretty quick and fast. So, unless the process of you creating a hotfix is going to be (for you) also quick and painless [without F'ing something else up in this seemingly 'perfect' ROM], then I say, a quick link to the post containing the resolution would be sufficient.

Thanks to all.

I have created three different "fixes"...
A = Only changes Bluetooth PAN Driver to DHCP
B = Only changes Remote-NDIS Host to DHCP
C = Does both

Registry locations:
HKLM\Comm\BTPAN1\Parms\TcpIp
"EnableDHCP": DWORD:0x0000001

HKLM\Comm\RNDISFN1\Parms\TcpIp
"EnableDHCP": DWORD:0x0000001

Since I haven't upgraded to the new ROM yet, I was getting my SDConfig ready, and wanted... If someone can confirm that the NDIS registry actually needs to be changed, let me know.. In MR 4.16, this is what I found:

Bluetooth: 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0

NDIS: No IP, Subnet of 255.255.255.0

Quick note to say thanks ... been struggling with this one in my GSM (XDA) kitchen for a few days now.

Very much appreciated!

* EDIT *

- Applying the PAN registry change solved my issue ...
- Did some additional searching/reading; the NDIS entries appears to be for ActiveSync over USB

Re: [ROM] [JUNE.09.09] MightyROM4 [Windows Mobile 6.1 CE OS 21051 Build 21051.1.6.4]

I haven now spent about a hour looking for a fix to this issue. If i have missed it, please send me in the right direction. Many callers are complaining that they can't hear me. I can hear them loud and clear. I have tried holding the phone in different postions and same issue. I have done a hard reset and same issue. I have tried the Microphone AGC and that made no differance. Please help.
