Aye mate, as said before you want MightyROM4 060109 Herman.exe, not Victor. As to it being better than 4.16... well, I suppose that could be debated, but personally this newest build has been my favorite so far. The boot time, response time, and memory footprint are great improvements.

Since you mentioned that it is debatable if better than 4.16 or not. Can you please elaborate ? I mean I really want to make sure that I flash this if and only if it is worth the efforts. I just don;t want to take a chance to mass up something that is working fine with my current 4.16

I like that it uses a more recent sys built, has updated programs (Google Maps etc.), uses EZInput keyboard (which rocks!) and is basically a tweaked to perfection 6.1 rom.

That said, I would never ever try to talk someone out of getting rid of 4.16, that rom is the bomb.

Good afternoon gentlepeople.

I posted a new thread in the TP area (non-upgrades). My issue is, as my phone is asleep (I push power/automatically) upon receiving a call, the phone wakes up but does not show me incomig caller i.d. This has happened to me in all the ROMs which I have flashed to, I posted in here as this ROM is the latest rendition which I am using. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA.

According to Noah from www.phonedog.com HTC is scheduled to release mid June (around the 24th).

any one having issues with heat afther data tranfer for 3 mins to 5 like heats up alot cant even tether at all use be able to tether for a long time i can probaly cook an egg on it

My apologies, the release is a global release but it mentions the HTC Hero.

Hmm... flashing a different radio was the only thing I've done to my phone that had a really noticeable effect on the heat. ROM to ROM it usually seems the same: normally warm, hot after a call, and BURNING WHITE HOT SPACE FIRE after tethering.
