PPCGeeks - [ROM] [FINAL] [06.26.09] MightyROM4 w. OEM BASE Included

mmmkay so im sure i look like a idiot asking for help with my first post on these forums, but here it goes

got my touch pro in the mail today, i was refered to mightyrom by a m8 at work.

launch the updater, phone gets too the 0% screen but the activesync drops for somereason and i cant seem to get past this.

ive been going threw dozens of threads and i see people saying to do this and that but with thousands of posts and tons of people suggesting diffrent things its getting a bit overbearing

so heres what i got:

brand new touch pro
a copy of MightyROM4.16_032509R

i sync up, it starts its thing then bam sync drops, phone stalls at 0% and i get error msg (262 i think it was)

pop out battery and turn phone back on, try 100 more times but i just dont quite know what im doing wrong.

am i missing some important step here?

Firt things first, did you make sure to unlock your phone?

ok this is one area i am in the grey on.

ive seen several refrences to unlocking my phone, but get rather confussed and frustrated in trying to follow along in doing it, i followed several links to several diffrent threads but was not able to destinguish what to do.

so at this point i will say no

i have a sprint touch pro. and will now search for the proper method for unlocking it(as im really not sure what to do)

ok so now im trying to run Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 in order to unlock it.

im getting error 202, activesync says im connected but i see the progress bar in Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037 but nothing on my phone.

just checked and it is already enabeled

currently the rainbow screen says:

I think he meant to say uncheck the box. That's what usually fixes the problem.

i am happy to hear ... now i will have a tp2 running custom mighty ... YESSSSSSS.. hopefully wm6.5 will officially be released by the time this device comes out july -> september timeframe

i think ive watched every review/unboxing of the pro2. i am so hyped for this phone, i am only hoping it comes sometime between now and july... i cant wait ne longer :(

Yeah I am going to check it out myself, but I've only had my TP since NOV08, so I dont want to feel like I am wasting a phone...

On the other side, are you still going to update ROMS for the TP after you get your TP2 Mike? That would be nice....:)
