No, it's already applied to the latest release. Read the changelog in the 1st page of this thread to see what the hotfix fixes

Hi I just flashed to this rom however when ever I use google maps it seems to soft reset after about 15-20 seconds. I have no clue why it is doing this, so far everything else seems stable. The only thing I did do to the GPS settings was in this thread a while back http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36639

I am not sure if that has anything to do with the problem.

what phone do you have? what carrier are you with? did you do a hard reset(Clear Storage) after flashing?

I have two issues, and if theyve already been addressed, I apologise and please direct me to the answers.

I have an alltel touch pro. It says im roaming everywhere, and only says 1x. The guy at the store tried to get the PRL to update (mine is 01903) he said there were much newer ones than that. Im in an area where alltel still exists and didnt get squished into verizon. Any ideas how I can get this thing to update? Ive tried the *228 but i get the verizon lady and it fails when i try to do any of the menu options. The problem has existed since I went to the Dominican Republic. The phone didnt work there, despite seeing towers, etc.

Second, Ive installed arcsoft for alltel, and incoming picture messages take forever to recieve, or dont come in at all. I get the information window, but download is greyed out. Ive tried changing the delivery to manual, toggling the data connection, etc, with no avail. It does sometimes tell me something along the lines of you must disconnect the current data connection to get a data session started to recieve this message but whether i say yes or no, it does not recieve the message. I cannot send at all. It just gives me the message failed, retry now or later.

edit. Ok, after some searching I've found out how to update my PRL, and it seems to have fixed the first problem.

Ok so why cant I use my styalis with this rom??? Mighty rom v5 works but not v4... any solutions?

You can. I'd hard reset or flash it again. You shouldn't have any issues using the stylus.

After I installed hotfix, my camera issue was gone. But it deleted my all saved pictures under DCIM folder in storage card.. And I cannot save any pictures after taking a picture. How can I restore my pics??? Plz, Help me~!!!

p.s. I have Sprint Pro.

Re: Stylus. I've installed R3BORN twice (with hard resets after) and for whatever reason the screen sensitivity was set way low (causing the stylus to mostly not work). No huge deal, I just fixed the registry settings and soft reset. Thought it was worth mentioning, though.

Two registry settings to change, just search the TP Essentials post for "sensitivity":
