i have 2 ideas....first donate anyway. psyki spends countless hours developing these roms and he is nice enough to pass them out to us. he should be rewarded for his work regardless if he needs a phone or not. as i stated in a previous post ive used several roms and i truly like psykis best. sadly i cant use it at the moment cause i have a tp2 now. secondly, i dont know if you can do this or not psyki, but u could try what i did. go to a corperate store and have them do the advance replacement (same as the online replacementt tool) they will order u a new tp2 and ship it to ur house. keep the tp instead of shipping it back when u get your new tp2, which is what im going to do. the most they will charge you is $175. take the money from the donations and pay the $175 and you have saved a ton of money compared to the full cost of the tp2. and it could be less than $175.

ok wierd thing this morning, my phone has been going slower than SLOW, it froze during receiving/opening a text message, then the phone completely froze. i then soft reset it and it lost ALL MY INFO! it kept the icons of my installed programs, but there were no programs there? anyone had this happen? this really erks me...i lost probably 30-40numbers that i havent saved to pim backup, my phone, or outlook...im seriously thinking of getting the tour since i cant order the tp2 since they are on backorder...

Wow man that really sucks, sorry to hear that. I've had that happen to me once or twice running a very old silence rom, never had that happen with any of mine. Flash to stock for sure, could be something screwed up in the radio. Again, sorry about that bro.

hey psyki, no apology needed man, ive always loved your roms...ive flashed every single one i could find..and i always come right back to yours. im just sick of all the problems ive had with the phone...and no matter how much i defend it, it then lets ME down! i want the tp2...mainly just because of the screen and keyboard...but i really need a functional phone that will last 12+hours. im not positive the tour will do this..but like other blackberry's ive seen...are problem free, when compared to the likes of my the tp. please keep up the good work man, i will be making a donation to ya as soon as i get a chance to so u can dev some bad a$$ roms for the tp2.

great idea if u can convince the repair store to ship the new direct to your house, my shop always have them ship the phone to them then make me go in person so they can do the swap

....i wonder if asurion is replacing tp's with tp2s? if so that would only be $100 and u can just claim you lost the tp keeping it

Nope Assurion is not upgrading to the TP2. They, unlike Sprint, get no benefit from upgrading phones.
