Re: [ROM] [Aug 21] Psyki 4 - Custom Glass Manila 2.1 (23017.5.3.0)

Since I automatically check my email every 30 minutes I don't bother with disconnecting data and I still get 12 hours of battery life.

I found this look for auto disconnect. Seems to be working good for me so far if anyone else has this problem and would like to make it disconnect.

I wish I could get 12 hours of battery life. =( With my data connection on I'm getting around 4 hours

4 hours?? Something is definitely going haywire in your phone, maybe if I left gps and wifi on I could drain it in 4 hours. Are you sure you're not installing anything else or leaving some other radio on? Do you have really poor reception? You should try flashing a different radio.

Yes I using new the Telus radio right now, as it works best for me with mightysrom, The only thing I have on my phone is your ROM. I installed it yesterday for the first time battery was at 100 percent took it off started messing around with stuff for about 10 minutes. Battery was draining like crazy. I found out it was never disconnecting off of EV it had a timer on it saying I was connected for 3 hours. my battery was at 30 percent by then. I had maybe sent 10 texts check my emails thats it. Before this I had mighty rom 6 battery life really wasnt a issue. Maybe telus raido doesn't like your rom?? I will try it out for another day now that I have it disconnecting see how my battery does.

I used the telus radio for a long time with no issues, now I'm using the sprint 1.12.34F radio which so far seems about the same. Still though 4 hours is not right, data does not use very much battery at all when it's idle. Are you sure something isn't actively using your data connection?

I don't know what else could be. The rom is stock from you. The only other thing I have changed was to make sure it doesn't do auto updates on weather and my email, as at first I thought that was keeping it on. I have also notice from switching to your rom I get alot more bars. I get about 2 in my room now Im getting almost full service except it likes to jump around from 2 to full service.

Another bug... Not sure if this is a Manila 2.1 problem, but I didn't notice it on EnergyROM running either NRGZ's custom Manila 2.1 or a fresh install of 2.1... There are still some issues with landscape mode. The Contacts and Internet tab seem out of alignment, especially the Internet tab, with the Search bar extending too far to the right. Also, in Portrait, the lack of the bottom curtain looks silly with bookmarks and Youtube in the Internet tab, as the icons appear right over the text. You might be able to reduce this effect by removing the redundant "Internet" title above the globe, and moving the globe up.

Also, any chance of including a custom taskbar with a Vista orb start icon? Thanks!

Not sure why contacts are like that for you, I included the fix and they look ok to me. In landscape the contact picture is supposed to be off to the left if that's what you mean. I can fix the landscape internet tab though, but I probably won't be able to fix the text under the clear slider. I like the clear slider look a lot more than I care about that one tab (which I never use anyway ).

Oh and I won't be including any custom taskbar sets until I finish my own. You can install them yourself though, just make sure you use taskbars made for 6.5 and not 6.1.

Ya man I'm at 9 hours and 60% without data disconnect and received about 8 emails at work + my other accounts and talked on it 2 or 3 times for about 5min each. Somethings killing your battery.
