yup, hard reset before flashing and after flashing.

always always always hard reset!

and I don't want to disable phone canvas! I like phone canvas! this is the first time it hasn't worked for me in any custom rom I'm afraid.

I'm pretty sure hard resetting before flashing doesn't really do anything
as long as u do it after flashing

But i've also had this problem on multiple roms. i remember last week i was on one rom (cant remember which one) and it NEVER picked up. it would do wut u described everytime. so frustrating...

have you tried the shaggy 777 cab? search for it.... seems to work for me when my phone wont answer a call. don't know exactly what it does, but it works!
