Dodge,

The top right corner where the down button is, is overlapping the time which doesn't look good, also the bottom menu bar isn't lined up correctly. other than that so far so good. It is very different but nice. Hope this helps.

Did anyone notice the Owner Information option is missing from the settings menu? Without that, you can't up software with proper registration based on owner info.

If it's been moved somewhere in this build, I haven't found it yet. It's not under the Personal menu as it was before.

I think I found the fix. I just changed mine and waiting for it to finish the sync before resetting.

Delete the "Redirect" value under the following keys:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Owner]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ControlPanel\Input]

edited again...
Yes, that fixed it and restored the Input icon as well. Both are found again under the personal menu.

- Opera crashed (Closed) on me a couple of times while going to ppcgeeks.

- I noticed that there is a picturemail version installed but i did not see where to change the download size..... ususally it's under Menu > Pics/Video Options, but I didn't see it there. Had to install ArcSoft 5.0.82.79 on top of it.

- when I go to the mail tab to create a new account, the keyboard option does show up... it is hidden in black. But it can be opened by touching on the empty black space.

Re: [Aug 16] Longhorn ROM/KITCHEN 6.5 build 23028

Longhorn, I noticed a few issues:
I'm on the Verizon X6850 HTC Touch Pro with a (8MB pagepool).
1.) The Default Dialer (Not the Dialer you see under contacts) has a vertical scroll bar that doesn't look good/ seem required.
2.) When in the dialer and scrolling contacts, the screen starts showing garbage <-- Names start to overlap each other.
3.) Volume up/ down keys open up the newer (larger) taskbar.
4.) The YouContacts screen does not have an X or Exit Button.
5.) The "Ticker" shortcut on the Ticker Titanium Home Screen doesn't work. It yells about "Error opening the shortcut or locating the target file name."

I'll keep you posted on more finds. Great stuff! I wish Verizon had more RAM on this thing! 8MB pagepool + Titanium and I have about 88% memory used.

Thanks,

Chris.

Running the Disable HTC Phone dialer turned off the HTC skin and now the Windows Default Dialer works without the random vertical scroll bar. (It also frees up about 10MB RAM for me on me gimped phone heh)
