Possible to switch from USA Sprint to Canadian CDMA Telus or Bell?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I just moved to Canada, permanently, and I would like to use my own Sprint Touch Pro on one of the Canadian CDMA carriers. First, is this possible? I know that I can flash a Telus/Bell Rom to my phone, and change to a different radio, but what about the ESN number? The current account with Sprint is in good standing, as I am still using the phone in Canada, @$.20 per min. Any suggestions which might be better, would be helpful too!

you can ask telus but offhand if an telus employee (make sure you go to a telus owned store not someone who sells telus) says no then you're pretty much screwed.

Telus/Bell WILL ONLY allow they own phones on the network.... so you have to get a new phone from TELUS/BELL... the ESN is registered to the Providers and no other provider will allow it on the network.. CDMA that is...

GSM is different where as long as the phone is unlocked, can be used on the network.. might use that some providers won't allow data plans to be applied to unlocked GSM phones....
