Sort of late for that... we would have heard something by now for anything coming in 2009. While not impossible it seems unlikely for this year.

On my Touch i have to soft reset to get back to WinMo. Probably the same on there...

yeah i just opened it on my phone and wow its an awesome OS, but without any network connectivity i cant use it! also theres a random blue square on the top

Is it possible to download apps via other means and install them onto the OS?

and according to the wiki slag posted the phone and sms are working, but no sound with phone.

no because you cant connect it through USB, and the storage card doesnt work on it, and no network connectivity. pretty much useless. I cant wait till they get it to work fully on the touch pro!!

but it works when you boot to wm, so you transfer the file over in WM, then open it and install it in Android. Can't do that?

Not sure, the port to the Touch has almost full functionality. Every thing works but bt, and gps...
