Juicy 7 Help

Sorry if this has been asked before, but there are over 250 pages in the forum, and I must have searched about 65 and couldn't find my answer. I just flashed to Juicy's 7 rom, and I love it. I have two problems though. First, my phone will only vibrate if I'm NOT in the text message list or if I'm NOT on the message tab. I would like to know if there is a fix to have it vibrate even when I have a conversation open.
Secondly, sometimes when I open up a conversation to reply, the screen will rotate normally to landscape when I open the keyboard, but immediately it will rotate back as if I didn't have the keyboard open.
