Talking Is 6.5 stable?

I've been looking for a 6.5 rom for my sprint tp and am rather skeptical. WM6.5 really hasnt been officially released which makes me wonder about stability. Currently, im running juggalo's 6.1 rom and have no complaints but im reading all of these things about the new rom which is making me want to do the switch. Does 6.5 improve the battery life and if the os "snappier"? Any recommendations? Mind this that i live in the NYC area and i cant afford to lose call strength in 1x and EVDO. Thanks in advance

Re: Is 6.5 stable?

Unfortunately an OS's stability will be judged on how well it works with all the programs we tend to load up on our devices. It isn't necessarily the fault of 6.1 or 6.5.

It has been my limited experience that both 6.1 and 6.5 are fairly stable in a Clean state. It's just that some of the programs may want to install on it may not be as "stable".

Re: Is 6.5 stable?

I still find 6.5 overall more sluggish than 6.1. Gone back myself. I even tried Copper.

Well said.

My experience has been just the opposite. I figured Copper was so fast because it was so 'clean.' However, upon installing 20-30 cab files, it still runs surprisingly quick and smooth.

I would say 6.5 is quite stable. I have read through several threads and it seems that many users are happy with most to all of the 6.5 roms available on this site.

Re: Is 6.5 stable?

I agree with the stability of 6.5. I was using Phantom's 6.5 but getting ready to try out Copper.

Re: Is 6.5 stable?

Ive been using Copper for more than a week now and I would say its very stable even after trail and error with cabs and reg edits. Im really getting use the the simplicity and quickness of getting from one place to another. Try it I think it will grow on you.
