Earlier someone said they had a problem playing video with Youtube but then apparently they got it to work *shrug*. If you have a CAB for the latest Opera it should install just fine. I'll try and stay on top of the latest OEMs when I release a new ROM, although I will most likely include Iris browser (as well as Opera) in the next release.

I truly hope this thread does NOT turn into any kind of pissing contest, and I certainly did not mean to pass judgement on any other ROM or chefs. Far from it. Without them I wouldn't have even bothered to make my own! Every chef has his own personal preferences and standards. I feel what I've brought to the table is a very consistent and complete package that works well out of the box with little need for modification or fixes. As I've said before I pretty much built it for me, then decided to share it online :mrgreen:

Hey me neither. Adding "VERY FAST" to the ROM title is fine by me. I don't need benchmarks - and really, the Chef's opinion of how fast his/her ROM is, is fine with me. But it seems others (name begins with a j and ends with a 47) wants them. Personally psyki, I don't think you should even bother. Don't even listen to him...people can flash and see for themselves.

I have flashed my Touch Pro over 100 times now and have tried just about every ROM in the CDMA Touch Pro thread (at least that's what I think).

But, after flashing this ROM, I am just amazed... I mean, I really have no words to describe how fast and stable this ROM is. Its been running really smooth so far with all my programs installed... Loving it, man! Keep up the good work! Please let me know if I can be of any help..!

I still can't believe that this is your first ROM.. I mean the level of detail and efficiency... TOO GOOD!

Not sure what you mean, I always post my benchmarks. I'm not trying to put the chef down, I'm curious as to what the benchmark is to see how fast it is. I'm not trying to stir up controversy if that's what you thought.

Thanks for posting. Yes if you're scoring 6737 that is relatively fast (regardless of the JPEG test skewing numbers). I'm working on my 7 series rom now. Will post benchmarks soon.

Just an FYI though, my score above (and as always) is with a 16mb PP, not 24mb

What can I say, I'm anal about details. If I'm going to be judged for my work, might as well release with guns blazing, right? My next release will probably just have some battery tweaks, iris browser, and more refinements to the manila tools. I got a couple cabs for changing all manila colors too ;)

Psyki, just an FYI... I see you're using Touchflo 3.0.33125

every 3.0.3xxxx I've used is from a non-vga device. try opening your keybaord and type a few letters in an sms windows, now press anywhere else on the screen. the last keybaord letter u pressed should be repeated. Did you catch this detail? :)

the category names are superficial... it tests everything froms screen refresh/redraw to file write/read. the over all score is a good barometer of speed.

6xxx is good for a rom where the jpeg test is wonky

28xx is good if jpeg test is working

you will get a lower score with 16mb PP

Hmm, I am not seeing this behavior in rhodium text messaging or inbox text messaging. I tried tapping all over the screen and the inputted text looks fine.

weird. where did you get the package from?

only the tru vga 3.0.29xxx worked for me. ive tried every build since then including the latest.... "TouchFLO"="3_0_19141226_TC00"

Sorry if I misunderstood. I did think that's what you were doing. I've not seen chef's post these numbers before. You think if they did they would be in the first couple pages of their respective ROM. I've not yet flashed to your ROM yet, but I didn't notice your benchmarks posted. Are they pretty deep in?

Nice first release. Very fast ROM. My only complaint on it was while texting in landscape in the new test interface. It wouldnt word wrap. So i was typing one long line. And once the message sent it wouldnt show all i typed until i put it into portrait mode. The old style messaging and texting was flawless as usual. Aside from that its a really good ROM

Thank you! I believe that texting issue is because in landscape mode the text interface is expecting an HD screen which is taller.

Yes, this a manilla problem, because it was ported from the rhodium, the rhodiums screen is alot bigger, im really enjoying this rom man, great work. One question, I have my own font i use but it onky shows in windows,not TF3D, The font i use i got from my computer, do u know how i can get it to work in TF3D also?

Hi, I bought my raphael about 3 weeks now, I have tried about 10 roms and so far this is the fastest and best one I have tried, thanks a lot for your effort, although I noticed so far one bug besides the battery which has been fixe, in the people tab if I add people which already have a photograph the quicklist will not display the person photograph, it will only display the contact like if it did not have any photo. Is there a way to fix this?

Opps I made a mistake, I was wondering if I could get a non transparent bottom bar on tf3d, not the slider itself. I was looking for it to hide the gfx flaws like the yahoo logo.

Since I did apply the yellow sprint slider can you possibly post the original possibly?

That's interesting, I can see my contacts with existing photos just fine... Perhaps try soft-resetting? Maybe even a 'clear storage' would help...

I've noticed this on a number of ROMs recently. If you re-apply your contact picture it will show up though (at least this has always worked for me) and then they stick through soft-reset, etc.

I have tried pretty much every rom out there and this is by far my favorite one, It's the fastest no doubt and very stabel. Only problem ive found so far is if you change camera settings in advanced config for encoding photos in portrait mode back to default the camera freezes and i'm not a big fan of the portrait pics being saved and viewed sideways. Other then that small problem which im sure there is an easy fix this is by far my favorite rom. Keep up the good work :)

youtube definitely needs attention , cuz it is buggy , sometimes it plays , sometimes plays with no sound , sometimes it doesn't play at all

How do you link your facebook account? I click on a contact to get updates and it says no account linked?

from the people tab, tap all people, the updates, and it should say link facebook account, tap there and then enter your login info

first of all... WOW! absoltuly love it! blazing fast! the only 2 very small issues i found are when editing your contact card, if you select open album, it wont open. from what i remember (from the juicy roms) is that you need album 3. the other one is, from the text messaging tab, if you reply to a text in portrait the keyboard covers the text box then when you close the keyboard the text box is gone and also no send button. but other than that, absoltly love it. especially the manila clocks as cab, great idea!

Having the same issues....

1. Cannot edit/change photo from FAVORITES.
2. Camera doesn't want to work all the time...just shows black screen.
3. Can someone make it to where the cursor for texting auto starts in the text box?? :) :) :)
