Re: [4-15] nueClockControl - underclock your touch pro/diamond

Interested to see if this leads to the possibility of overclocking.

Imagine if you could overclock the phone, as hot as this b*tch gets now, it will be able to finally make my morning coffee! No2Chem has found the holy grail!!!

Why donate to one person, when you can support the site that makes it all possible instead

most likely corrupt... shouldn't have to rapienable.cab, but wouldn't hurt to try.

I could only find a register that let me use steppings 0-7 (19-528 ), so we'll see about that

how about speed step.... or power now functionality.. If someone were to say write up a mort script or something that auto underclocks the device down to say 200 when its not needed then ramp back up when it is... that would be the best of both worlds to save extra battery life.

That would be awesome, I think our TP's would get some much more use out of them. My phone is not in use about 60-70% of the time. That adds up to a lot of batt savings.

Has anyone found a good "Sweet Spot" for the clock. one that doesnt drag all that much but would yield some batt life?

Well, I'm using 384 right now, and it doesn't seem much slower at all.

Re: [4-15] nueClockControl - underclock your touch pro/diamond

right now im at 19 & on the phone trying to see how much talk time i can get with this..
ill posted back when my phone dies to see if it gave me extra talk time

update: ive been on for 2 hour and it says i have 70% left, ill check back in 2 more hours & the phone has no heat coming off of it up til this point

update 2:3 hours in & im at 20%

final update: the convo lasted 3:28:19 from full charge until dead ima try with bluetooth off 2nite maybe, but at the very least it keeps the phone cool(no heat what so ever)but i had mine @19 & i wasnt using it besides to talk & i wouldnt advise using 19 unless u are only gonna us it for talking

ive been using my blue tooth on the conversation the whole time
