Thanks to this thread I went ahead and tried my 1GB card and it worked just fine. I can now confirm that the Transcend 16GB card *will not* work for the flash from storage card trick. It works great for everything else so far and is one of the only Class 6 cards in the 16gb size. (I have done some basic speed tests and found that it exceeds the 6MB/sec required for class 6...so I'm happy with it).
