Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen
I'm a little new to cooking any of my own roms, so bare with me. What I'm looking to do is add a few cabs that I normally install right after I flash a custom rom. How would I do that with your custom rom cooker?
Would I have to convert a cab to OEM ? Or is there an easier way ? Also if I wanted to add TF3D2 is it the same thing to convert it to an OEM ? |

unrar, drop it in the oem folder, chose it in build os, do not choose htc scroll and then remove the file HtcDrmApi.dll from the HTCShareDLL folder... also do not choose sprint manila in build os you can add .cabs manually by dropping them in the Config HTC-SPCS folder... then edit the config_ap file as so: CAB: \windows\"cab file name here".CAB make sure you choose autorun in build os Last edited by captblaze; 04-16-2009 at 02:15 PM. |

Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen
JD, can you tell me if I have to choose 1 AutoRUN (a lot of cooks put provisioning Carrier stuff there)?
Also what exactly is RunCC (is it HTC's new autorun stuff?) What about Config JD and Config End User? (Well I guess I really should look into it myself, but I'm lazy right now) Last edited by slydog43; 04-16-2009 at 01:06 PM. |

Re: JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen
JD,
I can use the HTC Dialer and the Windows Mobile Black or Windows Mobile Clasic Blue without any problems. I even cooked in the 6.5 themes to get the scroll bars. I added the HTC overlay in also and I have zero problems. If I use one of the designer themes then I run into problems. |
