JD's G52x ROMs and Simple Axe Kitchen

Strange, because I am seeing the opposite. I have used Mighty, KK, Juicy, and several others. I get much better battery life out of this ROM. I have all the same apps installed.

That is becasue the tweaks are probably already in there. When you use JD kitchen you get to be your own cook and what goes in is up to you for the most part.

I think your problem is that the entry should read this:

This is the entire path. I tested it and it works. Copy and paste the entire entry into personal OEM's rgu file. Make sure you leave the correct amount of spaces. I also uploaded the correct reg file so you can see what I mean.
I also tested it the way you had it and it works for me also. That means it's something else. If you upload you rgu I'll look at it and see if I can get it to work.

yeah i know i was just using that as a example if u have 2 of the same registries but they are different it wont build i have never got a error that says a registry already existed just at the end when its almost done it will say error cannot build ***(cant remember whats its called) & .hv(something)

i dont need any reg added i usally add them manually if i get that error thanks for trying to help tho

That is why provxml is the way to go! Provxmls are provisioned after the registry is built, so it doesn't matter if those registry entries exist somewhere else in the kitchen or not!

JD any change on getting a lesson on how to get a sys and rom ready for the kitchen ?

what i mean is when new builds are released they normally are for other phones like QVGA and WVGA and for GSM ..i would love to learn how to get these builds ( sys and rom ) ported to CDMA and VGA phones like our TP...i had found a post that i think you did a while back with instructions on how to do this from a donor rom but i cant seem to find it any longer

and it looks like they released 21210 ( the rightful update to 21202) but again its in QVGA and GSM ....

yeah ugh replace the qgva 96 dpi folders with the vga 192 dpi folder and if its in CHS lang change the 0804 folders with the 0409 folders
