Trying to reflash from sd but bootloader stays at serial

Ive looked for a thread like this but couldnt find one. so I apoligize if it is a repeat.
I flashed to mighty rom 2 days
ago from my msd card(faster,and my
laptop is being fixed)now i am trying to re flash
and when i get to the bootloader screen it says setial.
I have no problem soft resetting to get my sprint tp
booted back to mighty rom 4.6 but i cant seem to
re flash. i,ve tried a couple of different roms also
but to no evail. I even re unlocked it...with no problem.
anyone have any suggestions.

I'm sure you have but make sure you renamed the .nbh file to RAPHIMG.nbh and transfer that over to a freshly formatted fat32 memory card

that part is not a problem. The file name is correct
, but i have been moving the image from the root to
a folder and putting another rom on the root.
No, i am not using a freshly formatted fat32
card. i have been re using the one i initially
flashed from.

When you are in "bootloader" mode,the tri color screen it will say serial on it if you are not connected by a USB cable.

Ok, but i am getting no option to hit power bytton
or to reflash. Am i forgetting something

Double check to make sure you didn't rename the image file to RAPHIMG.nbh.nbh - its easy to make that mistake if you are trying to rename the file on your PPC.

Sounds like this might be the problem

I double checked that with total commander. it
says RAPHIMG.nbh. with file explorer it,s just
RAPHIMG.nbh. I feel like i,m missing something very obvious

File Explorer does not natively show extensions, so something seems odd there. Do you have file explorer enhancements installed.

I made a mistake but did not correct it.
No..File explorer does NOT show the extention.
it only shows RAPHIMG, but TC shows
RAPHIMG.nbh...
