Re: Copper v.0.0.0.1 [6.5.21500 Build 21500] [16MBPP] [UC Compatible]

I am pretty certain that my battery drain is higher with Copper... I love the look and feel, but battery drain is wanting me to try the Mighty 4.16 or another 6.5 rom

I honestly think that 6.5 currently drains the battery more than 6.1. It's not enough of a difference to be a major issue though. Hopefully it will get a little better as newer builds come out.

It is enough to make me go back to another ROM... I love you Mike.. you know that but I start my evening commute on full charge and am not even using my TP that much... but still battery is almost 35-40 % by the time I come home, it used to be 80% before..

Yep, I also get about 12 hours of moderate use and the whole day with lite use.

**We should start a list of "serious common issues" on v.0.0.0.1 for future reference.

Battery drain would be a good start.

Consider it a beta for Mike and Juicy's future 6.5 ROM's.

Me too...no contest, Copper wins my battery life competition hands down! I'm very impressed. I saw some posts in this thread about data staying active for some reason. I don't see that at all on my install. In fact when I look at my data connections there is a message saying that data is off and will automatically switch on when needed. I'm wondering if it's now unnecessary to run the "disable EVDO after 1 minute" mod? Only battery saving mod I'm planning to throw at this is nuedynamicclock later tonight. I'm already impressed with Copper's battery life, if I gain a little bit by downclocking the phone while it's in suspend mode then that's just a bonus.

Thanks for such a clean and fast ROM. The battery life ROCKs!!!!

I have installed SPB MS 3.0 and love it.
