6.5 Roms & Freezing

I have been tried the 6.5 star rom, and the phantom rom...both freeze at the windows default today screen. Has anybody experienced this or know what I can do to solve this? I love 6.5, but this freezing is annoying as sh*t. Is this a 6.5 problem, or a problem of that particualr rom?

which 6.5 roms are you all using and how are they working for you?

I use FuFu's 6.5 rom on my diamond and I get the occasional freeze on the homescreen too. Usually when I try to adjust the volume using the side buttons. But it happens at least once a day.

I experience occasional freezing and have to disable CHome and then re-enable it to get it working properly again. I am currently using a ROM I built off JD's kitchen.

the only problem i've had is the today screen wouldn't load after I restored my backup programs, it ended up trying to restore everything in winmo 6.1 I had. So the today screen was just blank.

this freezing is unbearable, i have reset more than 5 times today and they day is just half over, ive tried reflashing and it keeps happening with every 6.5 rom im using... and byt disable chrome you mean disable the windows default today screen?

because it also freezes when i try to switch between tflo3d and the default windows today screen with the zune like tabs

Yeah, they're the same thing. I don't have to reset it that often...it only freezes up about once a day. Have you added any panels or customized it any way that might be causing a problem? I think the problems I have had with mine were caused by me. I currently don't have manila installed at all, but I never had it freeze when switching when I did have manila on it.

the only panel i added was titanium weather but after it locks, i unlock it and bam its frozen again...im soft resetting as we speak now smh

i added chrom config, but i havnt even messed wit that

I am using 6.5 that I built from Scott's 1.6 kitchen and I don't have that issue at all.

You might wanna try his kitchen and the 21198 sys he has posted on his site (www.scottcrosler.com) and see if it is truly a 6.5 thing or something else.

i wish there was a way to merge the registry of 6.1, like the HTC stuff and other registry edits with 6.5. cuz everytime i flash and restore my programs, i have to re-enter my serials and stuff. its really lame and time consuming.

now before i download , what problems have you encountered with it so far besides the normal freezing of the today screen?

and i dunno much about cooking roms, can i just use the basic one he provided and install cabs as i have been doing
